New Horizons International Film Festival
Summer takes on a special meaning for us when New Horizons begins. In 2022, we had our first opportunity to be part of this extraordinary festival, and we’ve returned every year since, including the 2023 and 2024 editions. As festival photographers, our role goes beyond just taking pictures—it’s about capturing the essence of what makes New Horizons so special.
Our task is to document the festival’s vibrant life. From the excitement of meeting filmmakers before and after screenings to the lively nights at the festival club, and the open-air screenings in Wrocław’s Market Square—each photo tells its own story. We also cover vernissages and related events, offering a complete visual narrative of what surrounds the films. In addition, we create materials for sponsors that highlight their contributions, helping the festival grow and reach wider audiences.
New Horizons isn’t the only festival we’ve had the pleasure of working with for the New Horizons Association. The American Film Festival is another event where we’ve had the chance to capture moments of passion and inspiration. For us, working at these festivals is not only a way to pursue our passion for photography, but also an opportunity to be part of something greater—a community of people united by their love of cinema.
Every photo we take is a piece of the larger story of these extraordinary events. It’s a story about cinema, the emotions it evokes, and the people who fill the theaters and club spaces with their presence.
